The wind filled in around 2pm so I headed over to the beach and went out with my 5.7m and 90ltr board. To start with I was maxed out the whole time and having a whale of a time. lots of nice jumps and some decent backside wave-rides too. Chris Dunk and another kiter then joined me on the water as the wind began to ease. Half an hour later and I was only just holding my ground upwind and then within another half an hour even that was becoming difficult so I decided enough was enough. Pretty good for a couple of hours though.
